Once you have put the time in and your business foundations are in place then there are other simple practices that may save you a ton of time.

The most important of these is Back Up. It is just the same as when you are writing a document and are told to save your work at regular intervals, just in case. Backing up your website is just the same except you are saving a copy of tons of work. So if you spend time backing up routinely you will certainly save yourself and a whole load of time should something go wrong.

Automate –Spend some time setting up automatic posting into your social media accounts that way as you write new articles on your blog they will go out directly with no extra time spent sending each post manually.  The same applies to any business. You can automate postings on your social media accounts and have them all set in place so that they are sent out automatically at the times and on the dates that you choose.

Keep Notes- Keep a notebook of ideas as they pop into your head. Jot down useful resources you come across, post ideas, or anything that pops up that may add value or help your business in the future. If you have a gap while writing up your dairy with daily tasks from time to time you can quickly refer to your notebook and follow through with one of the ideas you have noted there.
